DESCRIPTION:A very special fair where the kids are in charge!\nDate & times: Sat 31st Oct (times TBC) | Yourspace Sutton \nThe Whipper Snapper Upper is a fair with a difference….this time\, the whipper snappers are running the stalls! \nHosted at Yourspace Sutton\, the event will give young people the chance to come up with their own stall idea\, make or create something\, set up their stall and have a go at running it themselves. \nFrom homemade crafts and artwork to games\, plants\, cakes\, pre-loved toys or brilliantly bonkers ideas we haven’t even thought of yet\, we want the fair to be shaped by the children taking part. \nThe aim is to create a fun\, welcoming community event that gives local children an opportunity to get creative\, try something new\, build confidence and experience running their own mini-enterprise – while friends\, families and the wider community come along to support them. \nCalling all young stallholders!\nWould your child like to run their own stall? \nWe’re looking for local children and young people who would like to take part. They don’t need any previous experience and their idea doesn’t need to be complicated – we want this to be something fun that they can make their own. \nStall ideas could include: \n\n🎨 Homemade art\, crafts\, cards or jewellery\n🌱 Plants\, seeds or garden creations\n🧁 Cakes\, biscuits or other homemade treats\n🧸 Pre-loved toys\, books or games\n🎯 Games\, challenges or activities\n💡 Or something completely different!\n\nChildren should be involved in creating and running their stall\, with grown-ups there to lend a helping hand where needed – but the kids are in charge! \nInterested in having a stall?\nGet in touch with Yourspace to register your interest at info@yourspacesutton.org \nCome and support Sutton’s next generation of makers\, growers\, creators and entrepreneurs!

Our Yourspace Sutton Christmas Fair will transform the garden into a festive community celebration\, bringing together local families\, volunteers\, makers and businesses for some Christmas cheer. \nFollowing on from our Summer Fair\, we want to create another big community event this time with twinkling lights\, festive food\, Christmas games\, local stalls and\, of course\, a visit from Father Christmas himself! \nThe fair will also be an important opportunity to raise funds to support Yourspace and our community projects. \nWhat we’re planning\n🎅 Santa’s Grotto\nA very special visitor will be taking up residence at Yourspace! Children can visit Santa in his festive grotto\, have a chat and receive a small Christmas gift. \n🎄 Christmas Fair Games\nTraditional festive games and activities for children and grown-ups – with plenty of opportunities to win a prize. \n🎁 Christmas Market Stalls\nA selection of stalls from local makers\, small businesses and community groups selling gifts\, crafts\, decorations\, plants and other festive goodies. \n🍰 Festive Food & Drink\nWarm up with delicious food\, cakes\, sweet treats and hot drinks while enjoying the atmosphere around the garden. \n✨ Christmas at Yourspace\nWe’ll be giving the garden a festive makeover and creating a relaxed\, friendly space where people can meet up\, browse the stalls and enjoy Christmas together. \nCalling local stallholders!\nWould you like a stall at the Yourspace Christmas Fair? \nWe’re looking for local makers\, creators\, small businesses and community organisations who would like to join us.
